i think shadow house is a child of rozen maiden. Helpless kids story that has power given by their father. what secrets lies beneath? even though genre could be different the whole feel of universe is elegant that you likely will love both shows.

- Both are very suspenseful and have horror elements - Shadows play a large part in the plot - Doppelgangers is a major theme - Both are very bingeable

-They both present a mystery to the world (I.e., The Abyss and the Shadows House) -Both series have child protagonists that explore these areas. -Both seem to have wholesome and light hearted moments in contrast to its eerie and dark world. -Both have excellent animation and a more darker and grayish tone of colour when it comes to their shows colour palette. -Both have good OST's With Shadows House having an banger of and OP and ED. -The world building in both are amazing. just watch it.

If you are the type of person who loves the Victorian Gothic or Dark British settings then you will enjoy both series. The plot points aren't entirely similar, but the aesthetic certainly is.

Both stories revolves around two girls, one is pure and cheerful and the other is mature and cautious. Every episode they endure hardship and grew a bond which makes them closer together ╰(*°▽°*)╯(¬_¬ ). I need more (❁´◡`❁)

The storyline might not be similar, but the eerie atmosphere of both shows, the peculiarity of the theater-like setting, the music choices and the characters have definitely the same vibe. If you like one, I believe you’ll enjoy the other as well.

While the story and setting are entirely different, the two are similar nonetheless, considering that the vibes that these two give are on the next level of resemblance. Dolls with mystery, something about it feels oddly eerie, and that is what these series are trying to accomplish. The only difference is that "Shadows House" has the CGDCT aspect while "Another" does not.

If you are the type of person who loves the Victorian Gothic or Dark British settings then these are both for you. They both also have a Supernatural, Dark Magic Power mystery setting to them as well

While different in most aspects, Both shows set a similar mood, and give off eerie vibes. Both also have a lot of mystery behind them, specifically about the world they live in.

Both have strong elements of the SOL genre, even though they are set in a place that has a dark story. The interacting characters where they live can give a cheerful impression in carrying out daily activities and have complementary friendships. Although there are considerable differences in story setting, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou is set in post-apocalyptic setting while Shadow House is set in steam era.

The main protagonist of both shows (Emilico and Akko) are kinda similar. They both have a cheerful, enthusiastic personality. When they first arrive at the place, they are both not very good at their job (Akko is not good at magic whereas Emilico is not good at being her master's face). Both protagonists made friends at the place and they aren't liked by everyone. (Only the first half I guess) The stories in second half kinda gives me a similar vibe. The story kinda becomes more serious in second half (can't go into detail since it would be considered spoiler but highly recommend anyone to check  read more

Shadows House takes place in the same Victorian Era in Europe and follows a similar plot. Shadows House has: -Characters that are mean and seductive -Conflict between upperclassmen and the commoners -Protagonists that are blunt and straightforward, yet remain polite-sounding These themes are similar characteristically to our main lead, Raeliana, and Miss Vivian feels similar as well to Rosemary.

Supernatural mystery thrillers, that take part in massive mansions where a creepy family presides: it's not that common a combination but it fits both these titles. There is also a lavish feeling to both, with Victorian-like clothing and a very eerie atmosphere of dread that keeps the viewer guessing at what precisely is going on, as much as it does the cast.

These shows are actually pretty similar. Both are centred around twins (of a sense in one, and literally in the other), have mysterious settings, where the main characters don't know who to trust and seem to have never learned anything about how to act within their societies. They very much differ in content (one somewhat absurdist, while the other supernatural), but I think, if you like one of these titles, you have a high probability of liking the other. MD might take a few episodes to get into, and the same goes for SH, but give them time, they may surprise you.

- Both are centred around the mysteries of one particular supernatural occurrence. - Both are in a steampunk-esque setting, although Patema’s incorporates these features more frequently. - Both have a young, athletic, and somewhat rebellious female protagonist. - Both sets of main characters are working to stop the organisations which control their lives.

Similar aesthetic values and a sort of mystery surrounding different narrative aspects. Also, both utilize slice of life to tell a drama-oriented story.

Not that similar apart from the two mains, the cute contrast to the kuudere. So basically if you want more of emilico, come here.

Both these shows feature nobles (as the bad guys) and servants/lower class (as the mistreated). The artwork is dark and the intro in Moriarty, ending-song in Shadows House give off similar vibes. While shadows house has a far lighter theme, it has a creepy feeling to it. In either series there is some sort of mystery to be solved, with Moriarty having more day-to-day cases and shadows house one throughout.

Both anime are slice-of-life with creepy/horror aspects Both anime have cute girls with that happy-go-lucky attitude as the main character. Furthermore, they bring positivity in an unforgiving environment, their kindness spreads to other characters. I really think you should watch both of these shows!

If you like RPG Maker horror games, you'll most likely enjoy these shows. Satsuriku no Tenshi is straight out based off one. Shadows House isn't, but its ambiance is very close to one (think Mad Father, The Witch's House, Chloe's Requiem...) Other than that, Satsuriku no Tenshi and Shadows House both tell the tale of clueless characters that are trapped in a dark and mysterious building.

Darkness. what is shiki about. Although it has a little different style but overall its is most matching in color. be ready that shiki is full detective

Despite the gap in release date they both give off the same vibe as a seinen slice of life shows about a very small and bizarre group of people how the interact with each other and the mystery behind where they came from.

Offers a similar idea presenting the relationship between a master and their servant, except "Inu x Boku SS" focuses more on the romantic premise, whereas "Shadows House" is not romantic in any way and has a sinister ring to it. Thereby If you had watched "Inu x Boku SS" but wished it was darker, then go ahead and watch "Shadows House." If you had watched "Shadows House" but wished it has the romantic premise, then you might want to check "Inu x Boku SS."

It's simple: both series have the same flavor. Despite the fact that the respective characters from each series can't be more different between them; the approaching to the story's mysteries have the same flavor. So if you like one, there's a huge chance that the other might be of your like.
