kara no kyokai and denpa teki na kanojo are actually 2 different 10/10 anime that are... perfect. they are both completely different stories yet their essences are also completely similar. In other words watching one and then the other will not be like watching the same thing but as if you are watching its ova.. kinda

The character types and sequel is almost similar. It contains the same power as the protagonists of Kara no Kyoukai and Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Mystery surrounds a series of murders. A loving boy and a quiet girl whom he likes. Eerie atmosphere and great soundtrack. Both by ufotable and part of the Nasuverse.

Both revolve around female leads with a dark past... Its hard to know how much I can say without spoiling but if you like Shiki/Fumika you'll probably like the other.

The overall theme of the two might be different, but there's something about them that makes 'em similar. In a way, Saya and Shiki are alike. If you enjoyed the bloody battles and the deep storyline of Blood+, I'm sure you'll find the same feeling here.

Blood, gore, mysterious killing (unknown to the public)... both are quite similar in these aspects

*Both series involve the MC having a deep infatuation for the other MC in the story. *Both series have a lead female character that is psychotic and sometimes has no control over what she does. *Both have amazing art work and character design *The two series have Thriller, action, Supernatural, and romance elements *The two are sequels to the original story line

Kara no Kyoukai second movie resembled a lot in this spring 2021 show. Despite going for the first movie as, naturally, I would go, I've choose to recommend KnK 2 simply because of two main factors: is, in the chronological order, the first one and, in terms directly linked with Jouran, the very atmosphere of the second title is kind of vivid: cold and unusual. Kara no Kyoukai (the garden of sinners), spoil free, deals with unnatural concepts and, important to be said, very eerie and that's also, undisputable, related to the MC: Ryougi Shiki. Shiki is really similar to the main character of Jouran- both  read more

If you enjoy not understanding any of what's going on these tittles are for you. The psychology and motivations of the characters are a mystery.

Artwork in both anime have great resemblances, due to the fact that both stories are written by Type-Moon. These anime feature a world where magic exists, and can be used be a given few people. Furthermore, the female protagonists are sword/knife-wielding bad-ass without descending into the usual dere stereotypes.

Both feature main female heroines with supernatural powers who fight enemies that are somehow related to the source of their own powers. Both have a regular male companion to their adventures. Both have a dense and dark feel to it. Art is similar.

I have recently watched the 2nd movie of Kara no Kyoukai and it reminded me Jigoku Shoujo. They have the same dark atmosphere, the main characters have supernatural abilites in both and the stories are realistic in both animes.

Perfect Blue is a psychological thriller film whose legacy and critical acclaim surpasses most anime films. A Study in Murder, as a paranormal thriller film, might not have the literary depth found in Perfect Blue, but it does offer excellent animation and action sequences. Are you ready for more murderous suspense?

Both of them share the same blood and gore effects, but they also have a similar feel to it. People killing and getting killed but no one can figure it out.

I was watching them both and thought they are so similar. They are both about a past of someone. They are both about a extreme killer and romance between the killer and someone else. Ruroken takes place in the 1800 and this one takes place and Kara no Kyoukai takes place in 2000s.
