Worldbuilding - "the process of constructing a world, originally an imaginary one, sometimes associated with a fictional universe." These kinds of shows are usually set in a fantasy and/or sci-fi world, and excel at establishing & showcasing the rules/history/economy of their fictional universe. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have great world building.

This is a stack with anime that take place in different European countries, either completely or in several episodes when characters are traveling to these countries.

Cottegecore stories harken back to simpler times and a simpler way of living. Many stories center on the idea of a simple life of self-sufficiency in harmony with nature, or characters having adventures in a pretty cottegecore environment. Cottegecore is often influenced by the romanticization of the European countryside in historical times, but may also take place in the woods, mountains, or other rustic locations in any time period. Aesthetics often include rural landscapes, cottages, and other dwellings surrounded by flowers and nature, boys in overalls and girls in old-fashioned dresses, lush forests, and low-tech items and furniture from olden times.

A Magical Girlfriend, exotic girlfriend, supernatural lover, monster girlfriend, or nonhuman woman, is a female (or male, in rarer cases) stock character often associated with romantic comedy anime and manga series, and is sometimes considered a genre of its own, or as the leading lady of the "fantastic romance" genre, which combines the fantasy and romance genres.

Magical girlfriends can be one or many in a single series (always attached to the protagonists). Because of the tendency for rivals to appear even when there is a 'spoken for' lead character and because of the unnatural gender balance among the cast, magical girlfriend comedies are often conflated with harem comedies. A good example of this conflation is 'Oh My Goddess!' which is often confused with one of the prototypical 'harem' titles", despite the short-lived nature of most of the romantic rivalries in the series.

Magical girlfriends initially derived from the US television series Bewitched, which was dubbed for the Japanese market. Sally the Witch was the first anime series inspired by Bewitched, leading to the popularity of magical girls in Japanese anime.

The cure for so many things is connection and we may think "no one wants to connect with me" but all we need is just to find the right people who appreciate us. Anime where the leading couple is from two different species.

Story where the protags fight with, as or alongside demons/monsters of some description and are in, teach at or adjacent to school.

For this list "school" can apply to any organisation that has the typical rigid hierarchy/power structure, junior/senior dynamic (things like militaries count but not informal clubs or groups)

Anime shows with Beaty and The Beast trope!

Pretty self explanatory. Anime that takes place in a countryside (or someplace desolate). Some of which are not necessarily what you would call a "countryside", like Harukana Receive and Zombieland saga, but it has that feel to it.
