Both medias present us with a duo of a human and antrophomorphised robot, and both shows convey well the slow but steady bonding of these duets, and how they influence eachother in their lives.

-blue haired female lead ・female protagonist in sukasuka does some action too though -made me cry -protagonists both are good fighters(?) the settings of each is pretty different, a medieval magic romance versus this. each protagonists stumbles into a blue haired girl and slowly gets closer to them. planetarian is more emotional but i'd say sukasuka is more memorable. nevertheless they're both good watches.

The theme of both shows feels quite close, even though their settings are different, in both shows the co-existence of humans and androids is featured, on a backdrop of quite the turbulent time. Still the idea that despite all the complexities and moral questions, in both shows the core concepts of androids, struggling and trying to find their own ways to help mankind is featured, as well as to try and understand their purpose of existence.

The both movies presents us with cold. harsh and cruel dystopian future for mankind, and they also shows us how both the adults, as well as children cope up with these circumstances. The emphasis on both works is the spirit of the young generation of the humankind, and the ways the children see this new world, as well as how they adapt to it.
