Junjou Romantica

Though nowhere near as good, Sekaiichi follows Junjou's style of storytelling by showing three couples all somewhat related to each other. It's more of the same, but the relationships are far less varied which is disappointing in my opinion. However, if you like one you may like the other just as much. 

Both show love boys ;) 1 boy has similar character as Shindou (Gravitation) and 2 boy is a writer, he writes romance book as Yuki Eiri (Gravitation). If you pleased from observing Gravitation, I'm sure that you will be charmed "Junjo Romantica". 

These are similar in a way that they show BL (boys love) and also portray the uke with the "cute" type of personality. In both animes there is a specific scene that happens, which the ukes are both shocked by due to the semes' action (it will make your BL fangirl heart go wild~!). Anyways, Junjou Romantica is highly recommended to watch (if not already seen) if you are currently enjoying Love Stage!! because they both possess elements of romance and comedy that relate. 

Well, they're both BL, but Loveless has less than Junjou. Anyway, I enjoyed them both, so other people might do too ^^ 

Both centered on a same-sex relation where the seme is bigger in age than the uke and initially acts as guardian towards him. Produced by the same studio, differences can be seen in the fact that Super Lovers focuses on a sole couple instead of Junjou Romantica, that packs in a season 3 different love stories. Enjoyable and funny, they both mix romantic parts and, sometimes, even dramatic tones to a lighthearted comedy that makes both series enjoyable.

Both are Shonen ai / yaoi... and involve a relationship between two person with a lot age diference 

Shounen-ai. BoyxBoy. The stuff, you know. But that's not the only way the two anime are similiar. They're handling a pairing (well, Junjo Romantica handles 3 pairings, but I'm talking baout the MAIN pairing) with a huge age different. Also, they have a lot of comedy elements and contain a lot of chibis/SDs.

1. KSB is a mixture of J.E. and J.R. but mostly J.E. (J.E. because of the Senpai-Kohai relationship and the similarities between seme and uke; J.R. because of the fact that both uke used to be straight and there is a great involvement of the family element.) 2. The stories are well-done, not forced, and funny. 

To me, Sukisho is quite similar to Junjou in a few ways. Very sweet plot. Contains yaoi. :) 

I know what you're thinking, "How is a Yuri similar to a Yaoi?" They both have basically the same storyline. While one is about boys falling in love and ones about girls falling in love. Both anime go around from couple to couple showing their stories. There's also a main couple that you see a lot of and brings the other characters together. In my opinion if you're ok with the Yuri/Yaoi thing then you'll like both these anime. 

Both yaoi with brilliant animation. Focuses on two sets of lovers, similar to Junjou's three. Similar soundtrack and sense of comedy (intimate moment right before adorable awkwardness or something/someone interrupts).  

Both feature boys in love and offer a good balance between romance, sex, and comedy 

Both shows have a strong homosexual streak through them, with interesting, lively characters. Antique is more based on cakes and dramatic plot whilst Junjou focuses more on it's characters and the whole "Am I gay?" thing. If you like Ono from Antique, you may like Junjou a lot. That being said, if you like Junjou, you may like Ono! 

The genre of romance between the two aren't the same at all. However, in both, the main character (in the case of Junjou though the more rational one in each of the couples, I suppose) has to deal with irrational or uncontrollable people and their significant other. Artwork is almost similar, mostly feeling wise. Comedy all around.  

Close the Last Door and Junjou Romantica tread the same ground: both are romantic yaoi pieces that play the seme/uke dynamics for all they are worth. Comedy abounds as rocky relationships and love triangles take over the plot. Fans of one are extremely likely to enjoy the other.  

Cure and funny, KKM is much lighter, while JR is much straight forward about the relationships between characters 

Pretty similar, the age gap between both of the MC('s?) is 10. It involves a rich novelist//bl light novelist and a college student. The mc slowly falls in-love, it keeps up with the "disgusting" type of theme, though the slow character development helps it fix it up.  

They're both gay, okay? Not gonna lie. That's why I'm recommending it. 

Both share cute story of how the relationship deepens and becomes lovely to watch. 

While Junjou Romantica is a Shounen Ai, and Shounen Maid is not, I still felt some similarity with these 2 series, mainly the characters. Both: -are comedies -has the younger male moving in with the older male -the younger male is an orphan -the younger male has a kind heart, and seems more responsible than the older -the younger male does all the housework: cleaning, cooking, etc. -the older male works from home & has a manager that stresses over deadlines -the younger male often scolds the older male, mainly about not doing their work -the older male isn't on good terms with his parents -the older male is rich Difference: -one is about a romantic relationship between 2 males, and the other is about a familial relationship  read more 

This’ll sound like really dumb recommendation but the age gap romance thing is still present. Fine junjou romantica is a shounen ai but it explores the story of 4 couples, 3 of which have a big age gap. Biggest age difference is 17 years I think. It’s genuinely an adorable anime and it’s one where the people actually get together so I love it 

Both are BLs with cute, funny, and heartwarming moments. 

BLBLBLBLBLBLBLBLBL I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. It always keeps you on your toes and it just...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think there is a manga for this and also another one which describes another couple involved. Both are manga, however. Just to clear things up- there is a manga for Hitorijime My Hero AND a manga for Hitorijime My Boyfriend. Hitorijime My Boyfriend, however, does not have its own anime. Believe I have searched. If you do find it then please tell me. 

Im assuming you like 'boys love' anime so if you do, this is for you! NO.6 has a more serious tone, starting of with a sci-fi / future dystopian vibe but as the show goes on you get to see more of the main characters relationship grow. I like that there are perfectly placed plot twists and humor. I recommend this to everyone! 

This anime is a boyxboy,very good,dramatic,nice art style,romantic. This anime is a forbiden love story when Ranmaru justgot married on a lavish cruise ship, but things aren't as they seem. The marriage is just for the appearances, and he ends up getting drunk and spending the night not with his bride but with the ship's captain.  

Both have to do with at least 1 character's first relationships Although one is heterosexual and the other is homosexual, there are shounen-ai hints in both, more in Junjou. Both seem to be romantic comedies. Believe it or not both have censored versions (more in 30-sai) Junjou is aimed towards homosexual men while 30-sai is aimed towards heterosexual men 

Both are very funny anime with cute boys. Though ouran isnt yaoi, it does have boy x boy suggestions and has cross-dressing in it. 

Relationship between a young male and an older man. Both of the young males try to make excuses saying that they're not in love. Sexual desire for each other. Lots of awkward situations. 

Both are sweet, a bit silly soft-yaoi animes set in the modern world and focused on the relations between lovers. 

Both these stories are about wealthy semes and college students who are the ukes. Both semes are heirs to a wealthy family but renounce their heir and are wealthy off their own means. In Junjou the seme is a famous author and in Yebisu the seme owns his own design company. The semes love their uke from the beginning but the ukes are still trying to figure out his feelings. Oh by the way these are both yaoi.  

Gakuen Heaven and Junjou Romantica are yaoi romances set in a school environment. Plenty of humour and fluff dominate both titles. Gakuen Heaven, for all its innuendo, is considerably tame compared to more adult content in Junjou Romantica and both titles offer enough eye candy and comedy to share a common fanbase.  

Three parallel stories that deal with the struggles of coming of age. 

Both anime has cute male protagonist and the charactors seems to be similar like Hyuuga from 07 Ghost and Miyagi are cheerful, Haruse has a similar appearance to Nowaki (protective personality) and Konatsu and Aya-tan are as well disguised in the anime Junjou Romantica. Both anime are very entertaining and for 07 Ghost fans that want to see some romance can watch Junjou Romantica ^^ 

Both are shounen ai animes but unlike Junjou Romantica witch is romantic and sweet, Vassalord is more gritty and dark revolving around the two main characters who happen to both be vampires.  

Both Shounen Ai (plus a bit yaoi - though it's just "knowing what'll happen or what's happening, than actually seeing it). Both amazing cute couples. Tight Rope "only" has one couple, since it is just a 2ep. OVA, and it is more about protecting each other, than the "daily life" problems in Junjou Romantica. Both are amazing!
