Mirai Keisatsu Urashiman

Similar 1980s anime with light-hearted action/adventure set in the future. 

In both anime a group of people come together to fight against evil. It happens in the future and they get the most modern equipment. The evil seems to seek the power over the whole world. At the end of the show a major battle happens against the main villain. 

If you've enjoyed either silly adventures then you will most likely enjoy the other one. Both series are somewhat similar, but neither series feel like a cop-out.  

These shows are quite different in substance, but seem to give the same overall feel. Ryo has a fairly similar personality to Lupin, and generally runs around thwarting the evil villains' plot in some quirky way; of course, not without hitting on a few stray women.
