Both series were placed in a comedy within a workplace, Denki-Gai no Honya-san is a workplace comedy set in a bookstore in a certain "electric town", whereas Working!! is a workplace comedy set in a family restaurant in Hokkaido. Both follow the funny daily lives of a quirky crew at work; "slice-of-work" if you will.

Both series take place mainly in Manga/Book store, both are comedies centered mainly around topic of selling and appreciating books/mangas, both use humor to shed little light to behind the scene of inner workings of book shop, even type of humor is similar. Main difference is that Honda-san´s character design is more fantastic where Denkigai is normal (well 16yo girl looking like 9/10yo but other than that trope - normal)

- Both are seinen comedies. - Both are about a working staff: one at a city welfare department, other at a manga store. - Both have a side-focus on romance which develops nicely. - Both are quite refreshing. If you liked Servant x Service, chances are you that you will like Denki-gai no Honya-san as well.

Both series have really a cute art style, and revolve around otaku culture. The comedy is similar, with Denki-gai no Honya-san being a little bit more mature at times. In both series, there's budding romance between characters. All characters have their own charisma, and they all generally put out positive energy that makes the show light-hearted and fun to watch.

I'm surprised no one recommended Nichijou. Very similar slice of life and comedy style. Regarded as one of the best comedy anime. Both explores ecchi humors without being an ecchi anime (only people who watched on of them would understand what I mean). If you like Denki-gai no Honya-san you would definitely like Nichijou too.

Slice-of-Life anime which share very similar types of artstyles, otaku humor and references are prevalent in both. The focus of workplace humor and relationships is also in Umaru-chan during the scenes which focus on Taihei.

Both are slice of life seinen comedies about ecchi/ero manga. Both feature cute girls and slightly perverted situations. While Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to The Animation is more about making manga, Denki-gai no Honya-san is more about selling it.

The life of a Manga artist. Main character from both series draw manga/doujins. Then sell their work at ComKa etc. They have friends who help them out. Lots of hilarious moments and maybe parodies.

Both are comedy slice of life anime that taking place in a work setting. Dagashi tells about candy shop, Denki-gai no Honya-san - about manga shop. Both anime have crazy characters and similar humor style. Jokes are mostly related to the work and its aspects. If you like manga - you'll like Denki-gai no Honya-san, if you love Japanese sweets - Dagahi Kashi.

Both series involve a working space where a lot of funny things happen. The people that work there each have their own very typical personality which is why a lot of funny thing happen throughout the serie. They are both pretty short in episode count and future a similar kind of humor. I you liked one of them you are very likely to enjoy the other one too.

Both are hillarious, incredibly over the Top comedies that feature a large variety of jokes, that often enough are almost nonsensical! If you enjoyed the humor of Nourin you will most likely also (at least partially) enjoy the humor Denkigai!

They have a similar kind of humor and a similar overall style. Acchi Kocchi has more focus on romance and friendship while Denki-gai is a bit more random.

Genshiken also has to do with making manga and doujinshi. In both a group of people get together to do so. They both focus on otaku culture as well. Genshiken may be a bit more extreme on the otaku side of the house but, I can recommend it.
