These are similar in a way that they show BL (boys love) and also portray the uke with the "cute" type of personality. In both animes there is a specific scene that happens, which the ukes are both shocked by due to the semes' action (it will make your BL fangirl heart go wild~!). Anyways, Junjou Romantica is highly recommended to watch (if not already seen) if you are currently enjoying Love Stage!! because they both possess elements of romance and comedy that relate.

Shounen Ai storys about a cute, innocent boy and a more adult counterpart, both contain a strong implementation of family bounds and involve comedy and a tiny bit of drama. While Love Stage!! plays up the comedy part more, Super Lovers goes more for drama. Also, the artstyle is quite similar.

Both are funny shonen ai anime with comedy and romance. Both have the world of entertainment (Music/Actors). I am completely sure if you like one you'll like the other and they are easy to watch for any new bl watcher, very soft and funny (they are strong in comedy)

Meet our main character. He's a spirited young fellow who's working/wants to be working in the field of manga. He had a fateful encounter with another man in the past, and after many years of separation, their paths cross once more... only for him to suddenly get a good look at his admirer's less savoury sides. Sexy comedy hijinks ensue, there's also at least one secondary couple to take the heat off the main dudes every once in a while.

The main characters both share the past and meet again, and they relate with a charm stone. One is a famous actor and other debut with high attention in their career.

Both shows are shounen ai/yoai that revolves around the main couple being in show business. The shyer character in the main pair initially shows reluctance in being apart of the couple but become overwhelmed by the more dominant character. Both pairs happened to work together in the past and the dominant character developed feelings of love and idolation from their last encounter.

Both main characters are cute and 'uke' (in many meanings of the word) boys. They both fall in love with actors. In Papa to Kiss in the Dark there are incestuous themes, though, be aware. Love Stage has a lighter atmosphere and more episodes.

-Shounen Ai about two guys in love -Both shows their relationship develop

Izumi was similar to Nagisa, they're both moe-like, innocent and bottom, Ryouma was similar to shizuma, both are really tall, gorgeous and top, but Nagisa and Shizuma are the shoujo ai version of them.

Both anime have a very similar humor and general feel to them. They are both romance anime with a strong emphasis on humor. They both have characters who are, or want to be shoujo mangakas. The characters are quite different in Love Stage and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki Kun but both anime have very good characters that go really well together, and both anime have a central couple with a variety of secondary characters. Both are very good anime and if you like one you will almost certainly like the other.

Both anime have cute boys and romance.

If you love yaoi, you will love Hitorijime and Love Stage! Both have great stories and great couples and they have a great manga too for each of them if you're interested in that.....

Love stage was amazing in the way it broke some of the yaoi anime stereotypes and from a genre which at the time was either very stale or very problematic in its portrayal of MLM romance this show was a breath of fresh air which paved the way for yaoi to be more than just pandering fetish anime. and that's why i'm recommending Given as a follow up watch. whatever problematic elements Love Stage!! still had from its predecessors are scrubbed clean in this show. So if you are looking for a real honest look at self discovery that doesn't wishwash on the characters sexuality,  read more

Similarity between Sasaki - Miyano and Izumi - Ryouma: (Supposing that Sasaki is "seme" and Miyano is "uke", though this doesn't seem true in official work) - Uke looks feminine but is still voiced by a male seiyuu - Uke is younger than seme - Seme becomes jealous if uke is with someone else, whichever gender - Uke is an otaku (the difference is Miyano is a fudanshi while Izumi dreams to be a mangaka) - Seme wants to be with uke while uke is busy

BLs within the television industry. Dual identities and dramatic gay revelations.

Going off the hinted at romance in No. 6 I believe these two anime are similar, Izumi reminds me a lot of Shion and the relationship grows in a similar way. If you loved the ship in No. 6, Love Stage is for you.

First we have a cute male MC, been forced to use women clothes (diferents amounts of time, but you got the idea) also very funny, ofcourse, its posible that the genders might be a little far way, but should give it a try.

I think these two anime have the same feel to them, I thought maybe that it might have been done by the same studio or producers but I've found no connection except for the fact that both of the manga authors make BL manga. Both center around romance and boy love in particular, although with Watashi ga Motete Dousunda the main love story is a straight one. And in Love Stage!! the main pair get together pretty quick in comparison to the fact that Watashi ga Motete Dousunda is a harem and has no main couple. Other similarities between the shows is that both main characters are  read more

Both have a really cute uke. The plots are different, but GH is set in a highschool, so they are around the same age. GH has very subtle themes and is good for someone starting out. It's light and fluffy.

Both have: -Main characters were actors at young ages -famous parents -similar main character personalities -Comedy and romance -Caring 'rei's that acts similar to a mother figure but double's as an agent (also similar pasts) - Both main characters 'run away' from home

Apart of the yaoi/shonen ai, romance and comedy, both have a girly uke but keep in mind that Okane Ga Nai is more explicit.

The two anime have far different vibes, one being relaxing and the other more manic/comedic. But I will say they are both very frank when it comes to homosexuality and the things that come with it. Both are very enjoyable for that reason.

In both anime there's confusion about the gender of the main character: Izumi (Love Stage) is confused for a girl, while Hotaru (Aoharu x Kikanjuu) is confused for a boy Furthermore, the design of the main characters is quite similar (they look quite alike) keep in mind that Love Stage is a shounnen-ai and Aoharu not

Otakus, who know more of anime romance than actual romance, falling in love - or having people falling for them. Those are shows about otakus that find out what the feeling of love is like. In Love Stage the love blooms between two boys, and in Wotakoi, between a boy and a girl. The comedy of the shows are really similar as well, and the side characters relationship are equally cute as the main one's.

both anime are about showbiz and acting and getting very famous both fall in love with a hot guy from showbiz world although love stage is yaoi is the diffrance

For starters both MC cross dress though while Izumi is a guy Haruhi is a girl. Rei and Kyouya have the same characters and so do Tamaki and Shougo. They are both comedies and both have to do with the lives of the rich in a way since in Ouran they deal with kids if millionaires in Love Stage the main character is a son of a show business family. But yeah they both are romcoms that will put a smile on your face.

Although they have different plots, both are shounen-ai titles where the main boy is forced to crossdress as girl, and the artwork is quite lovely.
report Recommended by Orulyon
Both are good watchable yaoi anime

Both shows have protagonists who are inside the manga and anime world. Even if they are a boy and a girl, they share daily problems. People want them to become 'normal' persons but both only want to stay in their worlds and don't leave anime. Both protagonists read BL manga.
report Recommended by FesbakAky
Both have cutesy/comedic shounen ai but is still somewhat serious and has plot. Love Stage!! has more comedy and is a little more explicit but the essence of the shows are still the same. Both have around 12ish episodes with a satisfying ending.
