Tsubasa Chronicle

Same great characters from ccs but in a whole new anime.  

Although it resembles a lot Kuroshitsuji it has a plot like Tsubasa. Memories scattered around and the need to find them, also the events that surround finding those memories. I like it, it's fun. 

Both of these follow strong-willed guys, who travel with a female companion(with hints of romance), while searching for feathers/shards. 

I am now on episode 5, not far, but this series has a girl searching part of a boys heart. It reminds me a lot of Tsubasa Chronicles. I thought it was going to be a dull series but I sat and watch all 5 episodes without stopping.. I think it's funny, a little corny, but has its merits. 

Both by CLAMP. Plus Kobato even has an episode that featues Syaoran, Fay, and Kurogane (and the comparison of voice actors is hilarious). 

Tsubasa Chronicle is the alternate story spin off of Cardcaptor Sakura. You will also find the plots from the second movie and Tsubasa are strangely similar  

There is a guy protecting a girl and helping them go somewhere or get something, they also both love each other. 

Involve epic scale of universe-changing physics. We all know Anime physics is mysterious, overly bouncy boobs, swords always beat guns, midair direction changing, easy to rip girl clothing, etc. But no, this two shows talk some serious physics and unlike what mentioned above, is difficult to prove untrue. That makes many audience think "this might be true" since it's impossible to prove untrue. The laws mentioned in both shows are time-space continuum, multidimensional and multi-existence stuff. Really difficult to prove untrue. This make both shows look as credible as philosophy teacher, which is actually not much, but more believable than most sci-fi anime featuring Martians, which is much easier to prove untrue. (I'm not saying it is.) No one is recommending you to learn quantum physics by watching anime. It's just that if you love epic-scale sci-fi setting with characters messing with laws of the universe, these are the shows for you. read more 

TRC and SAO have the same music composer, Yuki Kajiura. All of the main characters from TRC and SAO are also stuck in different worlds. And they both are shonen and romance genres. 

The characters are connected after all, if you wanted to know better about the whole ''CLAMP Universe'' its a good way to start it with xxxHOLIC first. Since the anime will not only explain the storyline of its own but also the other animes (basically a spin off) Especially the Shunraiki (OVAs) you can definitely see those two connecting. 

Both stories about traveling to different worlds in order to find something. They both also have: a swordsman, a magician, and an annoying little creature. Though Yami to Boushi is more in the ecchi side. 

These anime might be different in nature, but both share true romance between main characters and also have drama. 

Both anime have the innocent caramel-haired and peridot-colored eyes main girl that the story line revolves around. Tsubasa Chronicle and Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi have generally very beautiful stories. There are many cliche moments in both series as well, but they are generally well-played. Along with that, both series are cute overall. 

Defineately the same futuristic-yet-historical feel and atmosphere to both. Nice pleasant watches, including fantasy, some comedy, action and lots of adventure (group travel places to achieve a goal) Also both have the underlining little romance plot - with guy caring and protecting vulnerable girl. 

The female protagonist is a princess who, due to unfortunate circumstances, loses her kingdom and is forced to travel the world (or worlds, in Tsubasa's case) starting with just one companion, a man who protects her with utmost loyalty and has no trouble putting his life on the line for her safety. They gain other loyal companions/friends on their journey. The princess starts off very weak and defenseless, but has the strong will to shed away her ignorance and learn about the world and about fighting, too. The princess also has to forget about her first love, though for different reasons. However, the hints of romance in both animes are very refreshing and there is a fair amount of comic relief that catches you off guard. In a good way. read more 

Both anime travel to different places and meet different people. Tsubasa Chronicles has more of a focus on the storyline and Kino's does not have a objective. The adventure of these animes are both very similar as they go on there journey... 

Both series are a crossovers from different series with the main male lead chasing after the female lead with a strong cast of characters. 

Both invoves a complex love story that is the fuel to the rest of the story, where the love is so big that it lead the whole universe to bigger events. 

Main characters go into different world (s) meeting similar characters but with different personalities. There are action, twists, dark and light moments, and comedy but less as well. 

Both anime have a group traveling together to find something very important (Feathers/memories in TC, gems in DQ). They meet a lot of people or creatures during their journey. Also, in both anime the boy and the girl are each other's love interest. 

Both have an interesting concept of magic, used in pursuit of obtaining something that holds immeasurable power/potential. In Tsubasa Chronicle the items are Sakura's feathers, and in Fate/Zero the item is the Holy Grail. Honour and insanity among the different characters are constantly coming into conflict to bring forth an engaging plot line. I also found that both their OSTs have similar feels/styles. If you like OSTs from one of these animes you'll certainly enjoy the OSTs from the other.  

both the male leads want to protect a girl. Both have magic and romance genre. 

They are both great CLAMP series, and characters from CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan appear in Tsubasa Chronicle. 

Recommending Tsubasa Chronicle, its sequel, and OVAs. Two fantasy stories that begin with a simple premise of a group of fighters, initially strangers, accompanying a young girl and help her gather items that are important to her. They travel from place to place looking for those specific items which have magical properties, sometimes used by others for their own gain. As the plot progresses, not everything surrounding the main characters is as it seems - not even the main characters themselves. To explain it here would be a spoiler for both series.  

They are both interesting series that have concepts of dimension jumping. Tsubasa Chronicle has a more dark and serious story that follows mostly male characters (shounen), whereas Flip Flappers is much more colorful and light hearted story that follows young girls. They were both entertaining to watch because of their unlimited entertainment possibilities gained from their dimension jumping abilities.  

I know, main plots are TOTALLY DIFFERENT. But somewhere they give me the same feeling. It has action, adventure and comedy. Both fun to watch and will make you cry rivers on some part! Well, Samurai Champloo reminded me of Tsubasa Chronicles when talking about travelling. Both have samurais and awesome fights! Some parts will make you laugh your ass off. 

For those who likes shounen ai this is sure a good one... though it hurts to watch the whole series but the art + storyline is worth a try. The shounen ai in this anime is subtle just like those in xxxHOLIC/Tsubasa (if you don't understand the storyline, again... I would recommend you to read the original manga...with one warning: THE MANGA IS NOT FINISHED AND IT WILL NEVER BE FINISHED) 

-Heroine and Sakura look alikes and both have lost their memory and do not remember the person they love. -Both stories are about them trying to recover their memory (each in a different way). -Also both are Bishounen. But i can't explain details without spoiling...  

Both of these anime tell the story of people who can travel between universes. 

Both animes Are about a strong boy trying to save and protect his princess while they travel and escape from the enemies and make friends along the way 

Chapter 21 page 187 of Tsubasa Chronicle (manga), "No matter what kind of power you use, the life that is lost cannot be restored! No matter how much I miss her, I can't see her anymore!". And that's all I need to explain how these two are similar. They also use magic with lots of action you don't want to miss. They're both fantasy mixed with adventure and can make you cry too. 

If you loved Tsubasa and this is your first time watching a work made by CLAMP, then you should definitely check out some of their earlier work. Even though the animation in Rayearth may seem dated for some, it is still very enjoyable, and personally, I like it as much as I like the more modern ones. In Rayearth, we follow three girls called Umi, Fuu and Hikaru as they are transported into a magical world called Celes, that they have to save. We will see the first appearences ever of some characters that were featured on Tsubasa, like Mokona for example! Others include Princess Emeraude, Primera, and the three protag girls. I believe that while Tsubasa on its own is a good watch, seeing it after experiencing many other works by CLAMP only enrichens the experience much more, so definitely give Magic Knight Rayearth a chance. read more 

I just thought that sakura reminded me of morigiana they both have this determined feeling plus the setting kinda looks the same  

We have similar short stories in both anime, which deal with mystic cases and women. Also heroes of D.Gray-man and Tsubasa Chronicle seek and gather some magic objects in different places, and that fact forms the main plot. Characters are also similar - Lenalee acts just like Sakura, Allen has a hidden personality in him, "another him", like Shaoran. Also, both anime are shounen, and the original story was written by women authors in both cases. So some kawai elements and problems in relationships are also similar. 

Similar- -In both, the MCs are looking for something important. -Both have someone who has an (evil) "clone". -They have someone who goes blind in one eye. -Both (almost) have the same genres. Different- -Tsubasa takes place in different worlds while Hakkenden takes place in Japan.  

Alright, this kind of HAS to be here. The format of the show is not that much similar, however, the background stories of the main characters and the underlying theme of meeting in another life, not to mention the whole Princess plot and various kingdoms in different dimensions/on different planets, gives me a very similar vibe. 

Both the female mains have an innocent appeal, somewhat clumsy and always receives the help and protection of the male lead. However, both are admirable for their strong will and mindfulness of everyone's emotions around them. This next part may be somewhat of a spoiler for Nagi no Asukara, but the fact that Manaka loses her ability to love other people is closely similar to Sakura's loss of memories as well as her inability to have Syaoran's feelings reach her. Hikari loves Manaka, and Syaoran loves Sakura, but both girls are unable to receive those feelings because of some supernatural force taking their ability to love away in an exchange. Despite knowing the truth, the 2 male protagonists continue earnestly devoting themselves to the female protagonists. read more 

The partners of Rahzel are very alike of Fai and Kurogane from Tsubasa according to their character. So it's like they are wandering around without Syoran, Sakura, and Mokona, but having found Rahzel instead =) Both are fantasy and adventure with great accent on partnership and friendship and a bit of romance added. 

Both series involve the heroine to travel to a different world (or world's in Tsubasa's case). Both have action and adventure in them. Fushigi Yuugi however focuses more on the romance aspect of the main couple while Tsubasa has it's focus on the adventure and sacrifices the main male character has to make in order to save his princess. 

Both series involves time and dimension travel. Also, the male protagonist in both series travels and battles against his other self to save the girl that he loves.

They both have that annoying factor where I/we/you have no idea what's "really" going on. They both have that "bad guy" in the background that pops up, yet doesn't really play a part in the anime, until he does... They both have a romance that's doomed form the start (TC-she has no memories, GC-she "likes" Gai). They both have mecha-themed items (TC-some of the worlds they visit) They both are on a team that you're not quite sure is the good side, but they might be... (TC-Fai is not who we think he is, GC-the group Shu is in, is not on the "right" side of the law). read more 

Both features a group of four people traveling together search for something. Both groups have a cutesy mascot who helps them in their travels. Both groups also being watched by a good entity and the bad guys.  

.hack//Quantum is the Tsubasa of the .hack universe. Many of the characters are similar to their counterparts and somewhat follow in their footsteps. .hack//Quantum is a major treat for fans, but still accessible to newcomers. 

Both involve lost memories and groups on an adventure. Both stories turn into a serious drama. And they involve romance. 

Both are fantasy-based stories, exploring the similar theme of a young boy traveling through various locations with the goal to retrieve and collect items that will save the princess & the world. 

For an unknown reason the main lost the memories of his childhood. 

both are very powerful RPG-style stories and both are animated by Bee Train,.Hack//sign is a sci fi/Drama exploring the way of life in"The World" which shows up that everything in an RPG is'nt always just a game,but focuese more on the lifestyles of Friendship,Drama and plenty of unsuspecting dark mystery,and a cast of likable characters,Tsubasa is a cool alternate universe Cardcaptor Sakura with a cool action mystery RPG storyline where Syaoran is an archeologist digger and a warrior where Sakura is a princess of the kingdom of clow and features many supporting characters from other clamp animations such as Makona from Magic knight rayearth and Chii from Chobits,and Yuko the witch from XXXholic and many new characters such as Kurogane(who swores to get revenge on Milady Tomoyo who putted a curse of him.lol) and Feiya,who's a very disturbing character who smiles almost 24/7 read more 

They both have whimsical-like parts to them, and they both have people that don't want to be involved (Kurogane and Kyon) and bishonen charcters (Fai and Itsuki). 

Clannad and Tsubasa Chronicle, both great animes, both about a boy and a girl, in clannad they meet for the first time at school but in Tsubasa Chronicle they have been childhoodfriends, in both animes a relationship grows between the main characters. 

Both of these stories focus on the relationship between two young lovers and follow the adventure, supernatural theme. Travel is incorporated in both shows and the character development is extremely developed in both cases. Also, Chrno Crusade and the TRC series are incredibly sad and emotional but amazing nonetheless and all of the main characters in both series have downright depressing lives. Both series are 10/10 but Tsubasa's manga is better than the anime.  

Another Clamp presentation - in epic form. Code Geass is pure epicness all the way through. If you like Clamp, or brilliant storylines, or awesome characters, or all 3 - this is a must-see. 

Tower of Druaga and Tsubasa Chronicle show a group of characters that are traveling together for their own goals. Magic is used in both series, but in different manners. Some of the characters have similar traits. 

Both had original anime endings that weren't a part of the source material and later released OVAs that continued the story from the manga (Tsubasa) and lights novels (Ore no Imouto). 

Both Travel into place to place and has Cameo appearances (Tsubasa haves the most and Galaxy Express 999 haves some.) 

Similarly. Another world, princesses, villains. 

I found that Kurogane reminded me a lot of Ed with his temper... The plot could be compared to FMA's as well-- the main characters spend the series looking for something, in this case memories in the form of feathers (not as bad as it sounds, I promise!) but they often get distracted by little subplots. Like fma, though, the subplots do not get in the way of the big picture. The overall mood of the anime is quite similar. There is some humour in it, but behind that there is darkness and sadness.  

Both have the most amazing, dramatic and beautiful love stories I have ever seen. 

The hero gets into another world. Princess and the villains are attached. 

the main character is, one way or another pretty similar... syaoran and teito.. they are small and all... Teito is searching for his memory due to memory loss, same like sakura.. Bishounen characters... Similar antagonist and protagonist plot... etc..
