My collection for light-hearted romance anime series for romance anime fans. These animes are sweet-tasting vanillas that you can truly enjoy. The premise can be really simple and plain, but they say simplicity is also beauty.

These are the animes that targets the young girls of all generations, well recommended ones for fans of shoujo and josei magazine. These animes made me feel a young girl's vibes, even I'm not the target audience. It's because I'm a boy XD Complete variations of genres that shoujo/josei fans might truly enjoy.

mainstream anime of 2006-2007

This list is purely based on my opinion.

The counterpart of beautiful girls and the collection of reverse harem animes that can make you fall in love. Reverse harems tend to be pure and simplistic than the original version of harem. Pretty boys surrounding a simple and ordinary girl, is one of the most young maidens' dreams.

These are anime shows where finding the right person(s) allows one to rise above and go beyond anything one could alone. These "right ones" often come at critical, dark points and turn everything on its head.

Negativity is overcome, abysses crawled out of, and the odds defeated.


None of these are just about the struggle for physical power or pushing beyond physical limits.

All anime listed here are ones that I have watched.

Romance anime that I enjoy that are not necessarily in the shoujo demographic that are set in modern times. I’ll also be trying not to add too many fantasy romances since I technically already have a stack for that. However, that stack is all shoujo so if it’s not a shoujo and it’s a fantasy romance I’ll still include it in the list. I’ll also be adding a few donghua (Chinese animation) and Aeni (Korean Animation) as well. I might add a BL or two but only if I don’t have it in my BL interest stack already. I hope you find some favorites in here! I might add a couple duplicated from other stacks that don’t have too many views though.

These are anime where one or more characters start out as unlikeable to a point that you're sure you'd never like them but as the story continues you end up rooting for & liking them.
