Both stories tell a man's life without dialogue in imaginative ways. Perhaps the greatest aspect of both is how a story of a person's life can be told in such a short amount of time. Furiko clocks in about 3 minutes while Small Cubes took about 10 minutes. With a twist of creativity, a normal life is told within minutes that creates a lasting impression on anyone who appreciates simplicity and art.

Both done by "Tekken" the guy who makes sure a 3 minute film deserves all the minutes you spend to watch!Almost same animation, different music but again with a spectacular meaning.Enjoy!!!

They both feature carefully crafted, beautiful and tragic love stories that will make cry most people. They touch deep subjects in sutile ways and manage enormous development in their short duration. Both also are (almost) perfect in their presentation and execution.

As time passes. Life can get a bit difficult, and we often resort to uncalled for behaviour in the deepest of times. Furiko and Kaigo to Ikiru are true legends in explaining this. They are both shorts that come in as they go out, but both are still pretty good stories about the lives of families, sure, it may seem like cry bait, that is more true with Furiko, though, the concept is still valid, and I'd admit, they are very good at what they present. Also Tekken.

Time: we cannot control, cannot fully comprehend, the narrow-minded dictator. It leads us, onwards and onwards, endlessly and endlessly, forevermore. Timeless and Furiko, two shorts based around time show this concept rather well with this ongoing diode path all matter takes, that is, of course, the course of time.

Time, a variable that reigns over all, that rule will never change and time will remain the winner at the end of the day. Such an entity so strong gives birth to some stories that know how to bring feelings out of the viewer. Kanamewo and Furiko, stories in which people are passing with time in such pitiful ways know this all too well. The passing of what you wish to not pass, the struggles as time goes forward, these two shorts are incredible at directing such. Great net videos, very time efficient too.

Both Pendulum and Je T'aime are short anime with the theme of love. It is more extrinsic in Pendulum with more open and general themes. Je T'aime is more intrinsic with natural but overlooked styles of love. Both are good short anime made to pull your heartstrings.

Presentation. Furiko and Pretending to forget both follow this convention of using little detail presented to snowball into greatly enhancing the experience that follows. Furiko does this with a pendulum bob camera being the personification and motif of time and how it never stopping, shows time never stopping as well. Pretending to forget does this with voicing, simplicity, and more to show a lifeless, dull state, interesting to watch regardless. Both are good shorts that take up a total time of ~17 mins. Time-efficient, but has its selling points.

Rather than similar details, Puparia and Pendulum tell a heartfelt story utilising their world at hand, when telling the story. Puparia does this through an atypical setting filled with a chilling and odd behaviour, Pendulum uses a literal pendulum to tell the story. Pushing their themes with quite clever ideas, they create interesting narratives based on their themes they push onto the audience. Both are good short anime that are each under 5 mins.

This song/animation also has a farewell and passage of time theme, resembling episodes 3 and 4 of Tabi Machi Late Show. And the emotional weight is also pretty big, just like in the last episode of Tabi Machi Late Show.

Made by the same director, we are presented w/ 2 of the best coming of age short stories the film and animation medium has to offer. Both have incredible sound and music directing, and both send off their own unique message about the passage of time.

Two of the most emotional independent shorts I have ever seen. They both deal with love and tragedy, as well as being sad but heartwarming. Airy Me goes more to the experimental side but both are really enjoyable.

The sound of a train in the distance, or the appearance of a source of light from afar, all seems eerie at first. What would be the response?

Furiko is pretty much Clannad After Story in a nutshell. Same themes to do with time, the effects of ageing and family relationships, hell even characters are similar. If you have 4.5 mins to spend, I would recommend this.

Furiko and Shinsekai Yori are about people growing up, unable to stop time. There is a lot of drama and tragedy, though Shinsekai Yori has a much longer plot and timeframe.

Both are very short videos done by Tekken. Both have no dialogue but will make you feel. Both are about people and the flow of time. Both are drama genres and both have very simmilar animation.

Both are music drama ONAs that shows story of a someones life under 5 minutes. Both were made by same director, both have similar animation and feeling.

Both are short, very well made ONA/special. Both tells story about someones life in a very short time. While Run is comedy, Furiko is drama.

Furiko crafts a tighter and more engaging narrative with more compelling characters in four minutes and 20 seconds than Angel Beats! manages to accomplish in four hours and 20 minutes. If you want a recommendation for Angel Beats, you're almost certainly looking for a recommendation for a tearjerker. While I wouldn't personally classify either of these as tearjerkers (because they didn't jerk any tears from me, and that's how I define it), they both fall into the same tone and even use incredibly similar themes.

Both are very short, few minute long anime that show the flow of time with the help of music and symbol of clock. While Shiawase no Tokei is meant for kids, Furiko is more drama and for mature audience.

Music videos about progression of time as the characters are shown to gradually get older.

Both are shorts that are under five minutes long that show the passing of time and the whole life of a person starting from high school in an unique style.

If you liked tatami galaxy, you will like this story that is also of regret and time.

The romance development is very similar, and most of the issues in the relationship between the main characters are caused by the man.
