Fate/Zero 2nd Season

Both series have a protagonist with a determined way for victory. Death note has more mind battles, while Fate/zero has more fights. 

Both animes have a dark plot line to them, though Fate/Zero is darker in respect. They are very powerful and well-paced; with amazing animation and well developed personalities in each character. The soundtracks are very similar and are perfect for the anime. The same creator I believe too.  

Same director, same composer, both based of Type Moon novels, along with both containing a similar feel and atmosphere. Both have a mature history. If you like one, you will most definitely like the other.  

The feelings of both shows are similar since as the story processes, more characters are taken out making it more lonely. For the most part, it reflects on their point of views and their backgrounds. Both have great action, soundtrack, animation, and development. Also similar conclusions as well. I found some character similarities, Kiritsugu=Spike, Kirei=Vicious, Rider=Jet and Kiritsugu's band has the same amount that Spike has. Trust me it's linear since each episodes focuses on the story then they show backstories and pasts, etc.

Fate/Zero and NGE have whats in common: -People fighting monsters until the plot gets to the climax -Female characters whose role aren't human but serves something greater but too suspicious -Drama is crazy -Couple of character similarities (Difficult decisions, overcoming fear and anxiety, and dealing with the loss of humanity for the greater good) -ancient conspiracy -Action -Dark and mature tone -Not just adults but younger characters have some screen time What's different is that: -Mechas and Angels play a pivotal role in Third Impact whereas seven magicians and seven servants play a role in the success of the the Holy Grail War -The Impacts and the Holy Grail Wars are alike since they occurred throughout the years but have different outcomes -Supernatural substances in NGE and Magic in Fate Zero If you like one or the other, it's worth it trust me, if you watch Fate/Zero, you will be amazed by it's high quality animation and storytelling. read more 

If you've watched Fate/Zero, then Aldnoah Zero is worth for you. Aldnoah Zero isn't as well animated as Fate/Zero but the visuals are as good as they can be. Both have the same band, awesome ost, war, violence, deaths, and by the same director. 

Both animes have as base a historical theme with very nice characters and good fights with swords. Also both animes have a good direction and use of the 3D technology for the action scene, making this very epic in several moments, and for the sword swings. 

Both by the same writer Both have deep thoughts about people deaths (I won't spoil it ;) ) Both are deep and thought provoking Both are worth watching (the whole 9 films of garden of sinners ,fate/stay UBW and fate zero) 

these shows are pretty much the same thing, a tag team battle royal... now neither show has a very good story, so we can just skip that whole thing and get down to what matters, which is better? some might think that zero would win because of its animation. but boobs trump animation... thats just a known fact... so if you liked fate/zero, and want to watch a show thats not afraid to go all the way, then try valkyrie drive  

The weird reason i watched both of those series is because they have an amazingly good work of art which already takes you into some enjoyment besides the good story's 

In terms of sheer scale, not many anime can match up to these two war epics. They also both raise moral questions and clashes of ideals play a big role in both series. 

Additionally, both anime feature a large cast of characters that undergo significant growth throughout the series. 

This follows the character Velvet Waver, it takes place after Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night, if you like the world building within the Nasuverse then I highly reccomend it, it has more of a focus on solving mysteries rather then the death match between Magi's and their servants so if you're an anime only I wouldn't watch it until you've gotten a bit more into the Nasuverse. 

Akame ga Kill is the result of asking a bad writer to write Fate/Zero, these are the similarities. - Huge cast, everyone is equally interesting (almost) - Both give equal amounts of screentime to villains and allies, Akame pretends to explain their reasons, Fate/Zero ACTUALLY explains their reasons. - Seryuu and Ryuunosuke are so simillar lmao (not to mention the name morphology) - Both have simillar chapter lenghts (24 for akame, 25 for Fate) - SPOILER: Near to the finale, both kill a BIG part of their cast. - Both are super edgy, feels more natural in Fate tho - Both Saber and Akame get a deep backstory in the mid show, and in the late face their past to come to some conclusion - Rider is Waver's menthor (in some way), Bulat is Tatsumi's menthor and both shared simillar finales Fate/Zero > Akame ga Kill! read more 

Do you know the feeling when the best part of an anime is way into it and yoy can't recommend just that part? Well, this is different. You can view it as a standalone and enjoy it, not fully but way better than starting a whole series just to watch this masterpiece worth part. 

A lot of politics element, a main character who only want to save people/be hero but end up butchering everything including their family, also both don't hesitate to use questionable method, gray morality, newfound family, etc. The art & animation have similar style also. The difference is that Wei Wuxian has more luck than Kiritsugu and is given second chance to find his happiness with certain stoic person, while Kiritsugu just stay drop dead and leaving some unpleasant legacy.  

Shares the same director, and are both prequels that tells you about the tragedies that occurred to the main characters before the event of the original series. Great animation, story, and heart-wrenching moments. 

This is a very specific comparison, but Grisaia no Kajitsu’s protagonist has an origin story that parallels much of what we see in Kiritsugu’s early childhood. Grisaia has a story based more around a scientific world that has many elements and seems often times unfocused, but the attention to character development also is a similarity between these two series. 

Both anime questions philosophical things. "What is justice?" and "What is the most important thing to yourself? Is it your idealism or...."  

Battle-royale theme with characters fighting for the ultimate glory and prize. The music soundtrack in both series is also performed by Yuki Kajiura. Both series contain plenty of great action, drama, and characters with various conflicting personalities.  

Both anime are about 7 spirits, there is magic, action and humor. Both stories are searching a type of power in Fate Zero it's the Holy Grail and in 07 Ghost it's the Eye of Michail... very interesting to watch!! 

This also applies to Fate/Zero (first season). Anyways, both series: -Can tell a mature and intelligent story -Have no fanservice, which goes along with the aforementioned mature story -Are quite dark and suspenseful -Have characters with complex motivations -Are fantastically written and executed -Have characters with a dark, complex, or mysterious past -Although previously mentioned, both series have a shroud of mystery surrounding certain characters -Have intense thriller moments -Large amounts of characters dying -Examples of anime at its fineset 

Magic, action, mystery, comedy, you get adict only watching the first episodes ^^ 

After watching Fate/Zero, I was reminded of End of Evangelion and the way it ended. Spectacularly dramatic it is because the main characters Kiritsugu and Shinji goes through a series of drama and decisions that decides the factor of the conclusion. Death tolls roll through and one amazing aspect: ACTION PACK! Mechas, swords, magic, and twists occur throughout like a crazy roller coaster! 

Characters fight for different reasons including flashbacks that relate to the series prior to the events that occurred. Both have methodical fighting and some characters have similar personalities in terms of supernatural powers, intelligence, and morals. Both have the impact the world theme which involves sacrifices that determines the fate. 

Both are contain : - Dark Plot (with twist ofc) - Useless sacrificial - Tribute to obtain massive power which could get almost everything - Awful truth - Much suffering - No way to turn back but can't even regret - Stunning battle 

Both feature a battle royale setting, where several characters fight eachother to death for one goal. These characters are aided by a third party in both cases as well. This makes for quite a similiar atmosphere in both shows. 

Dark but classy shows full of intelligent dialogue and super awesome action sequences. Both have some very weird supernatural stuff going down, in secret, in an otherwise ordinary, mundane environment. 

If you enjoyed the world-encompassing magical systems, the opposing factions, the intense competition & emotional interaction between characters in Fate/Zero 2, I'd suggest you also check out Blast of Tempest for similar themes, atmosphere, and general feel. 

Both use the same art style and involve fast-paced action and dark plot lines. Though Fate/Zero can be considered more powerful.
