Any piercing that isn't a lobe piercing.
Please PM me pierced characters, they must have their piercings visible in the anime.
(I'm excluding the big 3 to save up space).

These are the Persona series in my own order. It is based on video games by Atlus, and inspired by the stands of Jojo. It had different kinds of stories and vibes, that you might enjoy. If you want an action and adventure packed that you never seen before, this show is for you.

An assorted stack of anime series with some talented detectives and mind-boggling mysteries to uncover. Highly recommended for fans who love to put on a thinking cap and wrap their head around, trying to unravel secrets alongside the protagonists.

Anime with various philosophical, religious, and psychological themes. Feel free to correct me where I'm wrong, give advice to add/change tags to the anime listed, or suggest new anime I had not considered.

Minor references to religion like Buddhism (like visiting a shrine), or vague references in general (like name-dropping or quoting a philosopher once), are not really enough for me to put it on this list. Although I will note if small references are made in important scenes. An anime is not more or less philosophical based solely on the number of philosophies it references or encompasses.

Spoiler tag is here because some of the descriptors reference important plot points or even the ending.

And yes, this list makes some anime appear a lot cooler or more intelligent than they actually are.

Anime with emo or whatever 2000s nostalgia. Wide-spaced too huge eyes, large forehead, tiny mouth, moe-blob. Some has y2k fashion or catchy tunes. Some are not to watch with other people unless you know they're fine with it. I haven't really watch any of them so I only picked based on thumbnail art-style. Always read reviews + genre tags before watching.

What the title says, any anime which has over 1,000 fanfics on AO3. (Note: anime with 10,000+ fics are on their own list, so if you see anything that’s super popular that's missing, that’s why) And since the tagging system on AO3 is a bit inconsistent I made a few choices:
For anime with separate tag categories for the manga and anime adaptation, I only took the fic number for the anime entry, I did not add them together. For anime and manga which have already been lumped together under one tag I used that number.

For anime with reboots where the reboot and the original got lumped together I chose the version with the most members on myanimelist to represent it (like Fruits Basket)

For franchises which have all been lumped under one tag, I chose the earliest tv series installment of the series to represent it. (for example Gundam, or Lupin III). But if an individual installment of that franchise tagged separately also reached 1,000 fics by itself it also got included. (like Gundam Wing)
Exceptions to this rule are the Fate franchise and Yugioh, because I don’t want to make another list just to squeeze those in lmao. Here are the individual installments of those which have all reached 1,000:
Fate/Grand Order
Fate/Zero
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

And if you notice that I’ve missed anything feel free to let me know

Wooser cameos in these shows, and/or these shows cameo in Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life. You won't notice until you know about Wooser, but when you know...
I've probably forgotten some anime so please tell me if you see [that thing] and if any shows belong or don't belong on this list.

I've seen Wooser TOO many times, I'm annoyed and now I made this list.
